Day of Action

The National Day of Action at the University of Manitoba took place on February 1, 2012 in University Centre.

Students heard from various speakers on topics such as the International College of Manitoba (Navitas), privatization on campus, Confucious Institute, Rapid Transit, the Post-Secondary Student Support Program, Bill C-10, and the Federal Government's role in post-secondary education.

If you haven't had a chance to sign a postcard, stop by the UMSU office to send a message to Prime Minister Harper, Premier Selinger, Mayor Sam Katz, or our University President David Barnard. Keep checking umsu.ca for photos and videos of the event, and upcoming events.
