The vision for the University of Manitoba Indigenous Students’ Association (UMISA) is to promote and encourage social, cultural, and academic dialogue relevant to the Indigenous community in Manitoba. UMISA aims to serve as an inviting, representative, student-run organization that maintains traditional teachings and cultural practices for Indigenous Students.

Student Accessibility Centre
The Student Accessibility Centre provides resources for students who identify with an y accessibility needs.
The 2017-18 will be an exciting, transformational year for the community group as we are exploring ways to enhance its services for students.

The Womyn’s Centre provides a safe space for womyn on campus to work, share and learn together. The Centre advocates on behalf of womyn of the university and offers a wide range of services and feminine hygiene products. All women are welcome.
The Centre offers condoms, pregnancy tests, information on reproductive issues, free menstrual products and information on alternative menstrual products, Wendo – women’s self-defence courses, the feminist radio show on UMFM (which is always looking for volunteers), and an ever-expanding resource library, filled with feminist books, magazines and videos.

Rainbow Pride Mosaic
Rainbow Pride Mosaic (RPM) is the University of Manitoba’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trangender, Two-Spirited, Queer (LGBTTQ*) and Straight Ally resource centre. RPM offers discussion groups, referrals, and programs and events throughout the year.
