UMSU Governing Documents

The University of Manitoba Students’ Union is governed by a Board of Directors composed of representatives from each faculty, school, college and residence, as well as five elected student community representatives. Board meetings are held regularly during the school year, and once a month during the Summer Term, and students are encouraged to attend the meetings to learn about the work of their representatives and provide input. There are also a number of committees that develop and guide the policies and procedures that govern UMSU, composed of a combination of UMSU Executives, UMSU Board members, and students-at-large. The Executive and Community Representatives are elected during the UMSU General Election.
