UMSU Governing Documents

The University of Manitoba Students’ Union is governed by a council composed of representatives from each faculty, school, college and residence, as well as five elected student community representatives. Council meetings are held regularly during the school year, and once a month during the Summer Term, and students are encouraged to attend the meetings to learn about the work of their representatives and provide input.

There are also a number of committees that develop and guide the policies and procedures that govern UMSU, composed of a combination of UMSU Executives, UMSU Councillors, and Students-At-Large.

The Executive and Community Representatives are elected during the UMSU General Election. Check back for a link to Elections information in February 2017.
