Student Clubs

There are countless clubs on campus for students with common interests ranging from a hobby or social cause, to religion or culture, and more. See below for a directory of recognized student clubs. UMSU recognizes that student clubs play an important role in the student experience at the University of Manitoba. For this reason, UMSU offers supports to recognized student groups including office spaces, equipment rentals, meeting space, funding, and more.

The U-Pass is a Universal Transit Pass which provides unlimited access to Winnipeg Transit services for Full-Time students in exchange for a mandatory fee.

Health & Dental Insurance

All UMSU members (students who are in at least one on-campus course) who are registered for a minimum of 6 credit hours of courses and all full-time graduate students are automatically members of the UMSU Health & Dental Plan

Events and services are the first touch-point UMSU has with the study body, and that programming is not possible without a team of dedicated volunteers. UMSU’s Volunteer Program is a great way to make an impact in the campus community, meet new people, and supplement your education with transferable experience and skills.
