The Nepali Students’ Association (NSA) is an open cultural and social student group at the University of Manitoba. Our mission is to build a welcoming community for Nepali students and friends of Nepal while sharing the rich traditions, values, and culture of Nepal on campus.
NSA organizes a variety of events throughout the year, including cultural celebrations (Dashain, Tihar, Holi, Nepali New Year), social gatherings (Momo Nights, chai socials, sports activities), and academic or settlement support sessions for new students. We also collaborate with other student associations and community groups to foster cross-cultural exchange and strengthen ties between the University of Manitoba and the wider Nepali community in Winnipeg.
Membership is open to all students, regardless of background, and there are no fees. Whether you are from Nepal, have Nepali heritage, or are simply interested in Nepali culture, NSA welcomes everyone to join us in celebrating diversity, friendship, and community spirit.
