University of Manitoba Bible Reading Club (UM BRC) is an open student group with no restrictions in membership. Anyone is welcome to UM BRC no matter what their religion, sex, age, race or whether they are attending University of Manitoba or not. However, individuals are prohibited to make offensive comments or actions but instead treat others with respect.
The main purpose of UM BRC is to read the Bible and pray for one another to enhance the quality of the individual’s campus life. Members will be given the opportunity to share their thoughts among others regarding the passage read in the Bible. The reading and praying will take approximately thirty minutes and the members will be given time to socialize with one another until each individual proceeds to their next schedule.
