The mission of the Club is to bring together youth to experience, appreciate, protect, and promote Canada’s natural and cultural heritage. As a club, we participate in outdoor activities, we take tours of National Historic Sites, we visit National Parks and other outdoor venues, and we volunteer for Parks Canada on various occasions. We also help with, and initiate local conservation efforts, such as river or campus cleanups. In 2016-2017, we visited Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site, we marched with Parks Canada in the Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade, and we experienced winter camping at Riding Mountain National Park. Our biggest achievement of the year was being the first Parks Canada Campus Club to travel out-of-province, to Banff and Jasper National Park! We look forward to the upcoming 2017-2018 year, and we encourage everyone to join the Club!
