  • During Recognized Holidays

  • And around the period of the mandatory Fort Garry Campus closure (December 18, 2021 – January 4, 2022).

  • we support the UMSU VP Student Life.
  • we answer inquiries related to Student Clubs or Student Associations.
  • we collaboratively work with business units within UMSU such as Service Centre, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
  • we collaboratively work with stakeholders to provide support to our student leaders.

Clubs Profile:

UMSU Student Clubs are student-organized groups which advocate for, represent, and provide services to certain student demographics interested in particular hobbies, careers, social causes, religion, culture, and more.

Groups require official recognition from UMSU.

Associations Profile

UMSU Student Associations are student-organized groups which advocate for, represent, and provide services to students enrolled in a particular faculty, college, or residence.

Groups require official recognition from UMSU and the associated faculty, college, or residence.

We send important announcements to recognized Student Clubs & Student Associations on our mailing lists.

For an archive of private announcements, you will need to check your club / association email that you provided to us. If your club or association contact is not on this mailing list, please email Student group Services to be on it.

Description

Student Executive Assembly (SEA) Meetings are monthly meetings that take place throughout the academic year. These are hosted by Student Group Services to update Student Clubs & Student Associations about various items. Minutes are not taken at these meetings, please send a representative to the meeting to take notes or get the notes from another student club / association.

Meeting invites are sent to recognized clubs and associations via email. Do not see the invite? Please check your group email first. If it is not there, please email Student Group Services.
