The University of Manitoba MEDLIFE Chapter

The University of Manitoba MEDLIFE Chapter is part of a global movement dedicated to Medicine, Education, and Development for Low-Income Families Everywhere. As one of the newest student-led groups on campus, the chapter connects passionate students with opportunities to create sustainable change both locally and abroad. This past May (2026), members traveled to Lima, Peru, where they worked alongside physicians, dentists, and other healthcare professionals to provide free mobile clinics, support community development projects, and collaborate with other volunteers from around the world. The experience highlighted MEDLIFE’s mission of empowering communities through hands-on service, while inspiring members to bring that same energy back home through fundraisers, guest speaker events, and skill-building workshops. Whether students are interested in global health, community service, or professional development, the University of Manitoba MEDLIFE Chapter offers a meaningful way to get involved, make a difference, and join a growing international network of change makers. When you join MEDLIFE, you are a part of a family that spreads across the world and only opens up more opportunities for you to give back while growing your own abilities.
