Dear Students,
You have probably noticed that renovations are under way at 101 University Centre – the typical home of the UMSU offices.
We are excited to announce that in Fall 2019 we will be opening a revamped UMSU Service Centre to improve wait times and service quality for booking requests, U-Pass pickups and general inquires.
In addition, we are nearly doubling the size of GPA’s Convenience Store to increase fresh food options, offer more international foods and ensure you never have to leave campus to get the essential products you need at affordable prices.
As a result, we will be closing the Gallery of Student Art (GOSA). However, student art will be able to be displayed in the new gallery in Tache Hall, and will continue to be featured in UMSU’s Degrees Diner. We also look forward to building on last year’s Black History Month pop-up gallery with more gallery features this year.
We cannot wait to share these major improvements with you all when you return to school this Fall.
If you have any questions please contact pres@umsu.ca.
Sincerely,
The 2019-20 UMSU Executive Team
